Hope Donation store is a charity organization that aims to help homeless people, widows, refugees, the disabled, and all those in need. The organization mainly distributes clothes, shoes, food, and also offers job opportunities to those whose basic needs have been already covered. To do that Hope Donation store asked me to create an eye-catching website to attract people’s attention to their activities.

Solution

Any charity wouldn’t be possible without people

First, I did thorough research on what other, similar to this, organizations do to solve the problem of attracting more donors and sponsors for charity needs. Eventually, I realized that people are the center point of any charity and thus they should be the major component of the website.

Color scheme

The most viable solution for attracting attention in terms of color palette is using the dark mode with high contrast. Dark green/blue is used as a primary color, while the shades of pink work as accents.

Logo

This charity, like all other non-profit organizations, would not have been possible without simple hope. It is the foundation that holds everything together.

That’s why it is also a foundation of the logo I created for them.

And on top of hope, there are little triangles that represent every good deed, every person that has contributed to this project.

All together they form a big strong triangle of hope that serves to help those in dire need of clothes, food, and — yes, — hope.
